The most popular premium durian. Its buttery, thick, bright yellow flesh and mostly flat seeds justifies the higher price tag. It has a strong satisfyingly bittersweet taste. The thickness of the flesh also result in longer shelf life compared to softer cultivars.

 

The most expensive durian in Malaysia usually pricier than Musang King. This can be attributed to its lower supply as well as its plump wrinkled fruitlets of dark yellow color, sweet and bitter taste with a hint of alcohol. It is said that the richness of it's fruit will vary greatly on the age of the tree, all the more reason to plant it sooner than later.

 

Prestigious light orange durian. The boldly coloured pods are very sweet, creamy and slightly bitter, a milder experience compared to Musang King. A favorable charecteristic of this durian is the ease of opening it.

 

The strong giant. Tekka has an average size of 3 kilos some bigger ones reaching up to 5kg. It's flesh has a creamy yellow color with a buttery smooth consistency. Also nicknamed the Musang Queen and for a good reason, it can easily compete the King with its strong alcoholic and bittersweet taste.

 

Hefty golden pillows of heaven. It's huge, soft and wrinkly pods are more than a mouthful. With smaller than average seeds this durian has a very good yield. With its statisfying balanced sweet-alcoholic-bitter taste Chanee is a highly favored cultivar among the durian lovers. Harvesting Chanee ususally marks the end of the durian season.
